Saturday Solidarity Social

There will be an evening party event running from 19:30-22:30 on Saturday 1st Feb in the Albany theatre space straight after the summit. The party will feature a whole host of artists and musicians and it’s shaping up to be an exciting evening. Tickets available now from the Summit event page.

Acts confirmed on the night include:

John Falsetto, Mohamed Sarrar and Ammar Haj Ahmad who together released the critically acclaimed album Sounds Of Refuge.

Nemii – Bringing a revolutionary sound that fuses acoustic jazz and reggae with sounds from the London underground music scene, each of Nemii’s performances are unique and motivate a much needed evolutionary change of humanity!

BeatFox – 4 times UK Vice beatbox champion. ‘More bass than brains – More beats then a boxer’!

Flying Seagulls – A troupe of clowns, magicians, circus performers and musicians taking smiles to those in need.

DJ Off Yellow (RumShackGlasto/LyrixOrganix) will be spinning tunes and creating the pulse for the evening. Taking you on a musical Journey through sound.

Your host for the night will be the wonderful and multi-talented Natty Speaks.

Event Update

January 2020 is finally here! The Summit will be taking place on Friday 31st of January and Saturday 1st of February at the Albany, London.

What Will Happen There?

  • Workshops & Training – On safeguarding, recognising trauma, group dynamics, compassionate responding & more
  • Peer Support sessions led by front-line staff and volunteers
  • Holistic Space – A place to reflect, relax and be nourished 
  • Market Place – An area for groups to showcase their work and volunteering opportunities. Book a stand here.
  • Discussion Space – A dedicated place to network, meet others, co-create & exchange information & knowledge
  • Creative Offerings – Film, photography and art installations 
  • Showcase Space – A specific area where groups and individuals will be sharing their grassroots projects and approaches
  • Saturday Solidarity Social – An after party where we can socialise and celebrate!
  • Seminars – On a whole variety of topics featuring representatives from groups from all over Europe

We are partnering with Indigo Volunteers who will be managing the volunteer recruitment for this event. Indigo is a charity that supports grass-roots organizations around the world focusing on the refugee and migrant European route.
